Dude. Don't invite me over or I might jizz in my pants when I see those axles. Planning on making a Moab run this spring break?

Unfortunately there is no way I'll have this thing near done for Spring Break. Needless to say I am trying to see who all is going to Moab, see if I can't grab a seat.

You're running leaf springs on a TJ?

Only in the rear, its way more stable at highway speeds and doesn't have any axle wrap when your romping it up steep stuff wheeling. Flex is about the same aswell. A lot of people look down on it, it doesn't really have huge benefits to be honest but it does take away from it.

Ya I know of one or two ZJ's that have converted to leafs as well. Seems like a lot of work to go to a more primitive suspension, but if it works, no argument from me! Plus, probably makes axle swaps a bit easier.

Thats exactly why I did it, I have a high pinion 44 in the rear with reverse cut gears and a spool, then I'm running bigger tube and axle shafts. No welding included in an axle swap lol
