Meet and Greet / Info Session

Hey everyone, sorry I've been way behind on this lately. I'm going to email the person is supposed to be our faculty adviser so things can get cleared up.

As far as a MnG, I'de like to hold one but I think we might want to wait until the weather gets a little warmer/clearer so we can have it in a parking lot so there will be enough room and be able to grill as well. I'de also like to kind of have a discussion amongst those there to get some things nailed down.

Once we get the date/time of the MnG, i think making some fliers and posting them around campus and on rigs windshield might help get awareness of us out there and attendance up.

So for now I'm going to just work on getting things squared up, and wait for the weather to clear up.

Would anyone be down for a small MnG for those of us who are on the forum so far before we hold a larger one?

Just lemme know when and where, and I'll try and be there. Honestly, I think the best way to get this going is like you said: mass email everyone on the list, flyerbomb everyone else we can, then bring food and beer. This will have to take some planning, so let's try to get the core members together to plan it, and maaaaybe see if we can secure a static display on the plaza again (frats are doing it now, so why not?)

Let me know what our advisor person says.

Also, if we do throw together another plaza display, would you be down with my roommate's bringing their ATV's? I know that's not exactly our focus, but I think being obviously inclusive of the quad community wouldn't be such a bad idea, and may be a good way to cross-educate with STT/ Tread Lightly, etc.

Just a thought.

I would be down to help out with anything that you guys need. I'll check back to see for any updates.

Hey, I'm not sure there will be a plaza display until next semester, but I will ask about the ATV's. More than likely they won't let us though, since getting one vehicle on the plaza the last two years has been an absolute nightmare.

About the meeting, I'de like to wait until the snow clears up some before we do a MnG to allow for somewhere people can bring their rigs...so it might be a little while.
